Dental Implant Cost for Seniors UK

How Much Do Dental Implants Cost for Seniors?

Unfortunately, there is no special price for dental implant treatment or discounts for seniors—and it's the same on the NHS.Treatments like dental implants are only available privately and are expected to be funded independently by patients; the NHS will only offer dental implants in very rare circumstances, typically in circumstances of congenitally missing teeth, if you've lost your teeth due to cancer, or if you had to have them extracted during a certain course of treatment.Getting dental implants for free is not really a possibility, even if you are a senior or on a pension income.

How much do dental implants cost?

The cost of dental implants varies significantly, depending on whether you need one, two, or a full mouth replacement. At our London clinic, the cost for a single implant starts from £2,500.However, the majority of senior patients we treat are looking for replacements for their complete dentures, so they often require the price for full mouth implants - we've broken it down below:

  1. Implant-retained dentures from £6,500 (removable)
  2. All-on-4 dental implants from £16,500 (fixed)

The exact costs will be explained to you during a consultation. During this visit, we can assess your oral condition and bone density to determine how many dental implants are necessary to fix a functioning prosthesis.Book a consultation online and assess your suitability.

Ways to pay for seniors

There are three options senior patients can explore:Upfront:The dental implant procedure is split into two stages. When booking, you'll pay 50% of your treatment cost and the final 50%, typically three months later, when we complete your restoration. With finance:We offer dental finance over 12 months, which is interest-free, which means our senior patients can split the cost of their treatment into 12 manageable instalments, especially when placing a larger initial deposit. To be accepted for dental finance, a senior has to demonstrate a good credit history, proof of income or benefits, and pension income.Via dental insurance:Maida Dental Clinic accepts several dental insurers - check your specific plan for what treatments are covered.

What is the oldest age for getting dental implants?

Dental implants do not have upper-age restrictions. Treatment eligibility depends on several factors, but age is not one of them.
