The price for this type of treatment can vary, depending on the number of implants used or the number of missing adjacent teeth.
What are implant-supported bridges?
Dental implants are small titanium screws fixed into your jaw. Rather than supported by natural teeth, the dental bridge is supported by implants, which puts less stress on your natural, healthy teeth.
In the long term, implants are aesthetic, functional and comfortable – plus, they will take care of your oral structure for the rest of your life, giving you one less thing to worry about.
How do they work?
A dental bridge is a standard restorative tooth replacement method that replaces teeth individually or multiple missing teeth in the same area.
We position one to two implants into the jawbone in usual cases, which can replace up to four missing teeth. The crowns are then connected to form one piece.
How long does it take?
After three-six months, the implant has had enough time to fuse with the bone and heal – this means it is ready and strong enough to hold the bridge.
If the break between implantation and final restoration worries you, please note that we provide temporary teeth repairs in the meantime, which will cover the gaps.
How much does it cost?
As an indication, the treatment alone costs £2,000, including the crowns, post (abutment), bridge and implant. The price also includes the dentist’s time.
The price can differ depending on any pre-implant procedures you might require; for example, if you need a sinus lift or bone graft, this can increase the final cost.
