Dr Pedro Gutierres, the founder and principal dentist at Maida Smiles, is also our full-time dental implant dentist. Dr Gutierres started practising dentistry in the UK shortly after qualifying in Lisbon, Portugal, in 2006 and opened Maida Vale Smile Clinic in 2019 to become London’s go-to implant clinic for full mouth rehabilitation.
Lead Implant Surgeon
With a master’s degree in implant dentistry from Warwick University and international training, Dr Gutierres has undertaken extensive training to become an expert in surgical procedures for all implant-related oral surgery techniques, including sinus lift, guided bone regeneration and full mouth rehabilitation with a fixed prosthesis (“teeth-in-a-day”).
